Planting happens with PLANT-MY-TREE®, Germany's most experienced reforestation organisation: active since 2007, almost 3 million trees planted and more than 110 project sites across Germany. Every site is secured long-term and planned together with forestry experts — including GPS coordinates for every planting.
Our site: the Harz in Saxony-Anhalt
Concretely, we plant in the Harz mountains (Saxony-Anhalt), where bark beetles and drought destroyed vast spruce stands. On these clear-cut areas our trees grow into a climate-stable mixed forest of oak, sycamore maple and silver fir — a forest built to survive the heatwaves of the future.
